UW at Night

Here are a couple of pictures taken last night, when I was taking a break from writing my paper on Swedish film. Shooting at night reminds me of how much I need a tripod - even at ISO1600 and shooting well-lit scenes, I have to resort to resting the camera on a handrail.

The first picture is Red Square, outside Suzzalo Library looking towards Odegaard. The tall sculptures are actually air vents for the underground parking garage.

The second picture is the northeast entrance to Savery Hall. I liked the refelection of the light on the rain-soaked bricks.
