Wow, writing final papers really takes it out of you. To be finished this weekend are a paper on Strindberg and another one on Greenlandic independence. Not to mention the translation of a 12th-century Icelandic poem. Perhaps I'll post that when I'm done with it.
In the meanwhile, enjoy a piece of Coca-Cola propaganda from 1940's Sweden, courtesey of the Coke Museum in Atlanta, GA. I took this picture on a trip to visit a friend a few years ago.
The word means "Wonderful, glorious, lovely, delightful." Strangely enough, giant-sized soda bottlecap hats did not catch on as the latest fashion accoutrement in postwar Stockholm.
