The closing dinner of IASS 2006 was held on an islet called Lilla Bocken (Little Goat) in the Åbo archipelago, near Runsala Island on the western coast of Finland. We took a boat from the river's edge in the city to the island, then had dinner in a 19th century boat house.
Although some delegates had left the previous day, there were still a number of people I knew from both Europe and the US.
The boat back left at midnight, a few hours after the sun had gone down over the archipelago:
