The Guardian has a great article today on a new theory about the theft of Edvard Munch's Scream from an Oslo gallery in 2004: it may have been a diversionary tactic to distract police from investigating the murder of an officer during a botched bank robbery. Quite good reporting about Norwegian society, as far as I can tell.
