A few classmates convinced me to take the convertible out to Seward Park today, given the sudden and unexpected end to the cold and rainy weather. Here Kirstine makes evident her pleasure at the sunshine in her typically subdued manner:
Margareta ended up knowing the scenic route down to the park from her many bike rides in the area, which apparently also goes right by the former home of Kurt Cobain.
Mt. Rainier was visible above a cloud layer going about halfway up. The view from this part of the park must be really amazing when it's completely clear:
