The end of the quarter brings with it a chance to let off steam by working on toy restoration — here, a vintage 1984 Japanese robot kit from a company called Tomy. I got this as a reward for learning long division, if I recall, and it’s been in the basement probably ever since middle school. That’s kept it relatively intact, if a bit dusty:
